Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated RN Poison Information Specialist (Uncertified) to join our team at Denver Health. In this role, you will provide vital phone consultation and education to both consumers and healthcare professionals regarding exposures to various substances. You will work under general supervision, assessing cases, providing recommendations, and ensuring quality documentation of calls.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and poisoning events through direct questions and history-taking.
• Provide first aid and treatment recommendations in clear terms to the public and healthcare providers.
• Collect demographic information and maintain quality documentation.
• Utilize FAQ resources for public education and complete required surveys.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree and less than 1 year experience in a medical call center or similar setting.
• RN-Registered Nurse license from the Department of Regulatory Agencies.
• Basic computer skills, good communication abilities, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle challenging situations and adapt to changing demands.
