RN Registered Nurse (RN)- Operating Room

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated RN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team at Denver Health. As a member of our highly skilled unit, you will provide exceptional care to patients with diverse surgical needs. This role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes, utilizing evidence-based practices and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify health issues.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor patient conditions.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient responses.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with treatments.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Administer medications and ensure patient comfort.
• Promote health education and disease prevention.
• Supervise less skilled healthcare personnel.
• Promote positive patient experiences.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• 1 year of Operating Room experience.
• Valid BLS, RN, and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency in medical equipment and patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work calmly in emergency situations.
