Rotating Equipment Repair Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Repair Engineer to join ITT, Inc.'s PRO Services shop in Colfax, North Carolina. As a Repair Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the shop by producing quotes, procuring drawings, and providing inside sales support for repair and upgrade work. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 3-5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle quotations and pricing in collaboration with Sales and Facility General Manager.
• Produce drawings for parts manufacturing or repair.
• Ensure timely shipment schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Support Sales in recommending upgrades, problem-solving, and customer solutions.
• Manage job entries, data completion, and subcontractor negotiations.
• Adhere to ISO 9001, ITT ESH, and other guidelines.
• Contribute to safety, shipments, cost savings, and quality goals.
• Provide occasional after-hours and weekend support for Customer needs.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Working experience with pump and rotating equipment service or repair.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office. Experience with Creo is a plus.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
