Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Director, Development, to develop and implement fundraising strategies, cultivate relationships with funders, and support various fundraising initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of making housing accessible and creating thriving communities.

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in Enterprise's mission and programs to shape fundraising strategies.
• Collaborate with program staff to craft compelling case statements for funders.
• Build relationships across divisions for tailored fundraising approaches.
• Cultivate and manage partnerships with local, regional, and national funders.
• Organize meetings, events, and tours with prospects and funders.
• Write and submit proposals, reports, and stewardship documents.
• Create customized funder proposals and impact reports.
• Manage funder records and interactions in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising.
• Demonstrated success in securing significant gifts.
• Bachelor's degree and strong writing skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
