Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners, a national nonprofit dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Senior Development Officer will play a crucial role in securing funding from corporate, foundation, and government partners to support our mission. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with internal teams, develop customized fundraising strategies, and cultivate relationships with funders to drive impact and change.

Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise's mission and programs to inform fundraising strategies.
• Collaborate with program staff to articulate programming for funders.
• Build relationships with local, regional, and national funders.
• Organize meetings and events with prospects and funders.
• Write and submit proposals, reports, and impact documents.
• Create customized funder materials and recognition opportunities.
• Maintain accurate funder records and activities in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising.
• Proven track record in securing significant gifts.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Knowledge of community development and affordable housing industry a plus.
