Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will contribute to building and maintaining secure, open source encryption tools and libraries to help customers protect their sensitive data in the cloud.
Responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including designing, prioritizing, and implementing new features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and support internal and external customers.
- Develop secure libraries using C and Rust to enhance AWS services' security.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
- Experience in system design, architecture, and leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
