Overview: Amazon's AWS Cryptography team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team. This role involves contributing to the development and maintenance of secure, open source encryption tools and libraries, ensuring data protection for AWS customers.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography features.
• Building and maintaining scalable and secure cryptographic tools using languages such as C and Rust.
• Collaborating with senior leaders and engineers to deliver cryptographic solutions globally.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in programming and system design.
• Leadership experience in engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full software development lifecycle expertise.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
