Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This is a full-time position with a focus on implementing cryptography solutions at scale. As a part of this team, you will play a crucial role in building secure and user-friendly encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data for AWS customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
- Design and implement new features for AWS cryptographic tools.
- Develop foundational libraries using C and Rust for highly secure AWS services.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, principal engineers, and security specialists to deliver and support cryptographic solutions for global customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming skills with proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of new systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
