Salary: $134,500 - $261,500 per year
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining secure, open-source encryption tools and libraries.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
- Operate an AWS business with globally distributed servers and customers.
- Deliver foundational libraries using C and Rust for highly secure services.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming languages, design patterns, and leading system architecture.
- Previous mentorship or team leadership roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in full software development lifecycle processes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
