Senior Software Development Engineer - AWS Cryptography
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the PAL team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. You will be a part of our AWS Cryptography team, focused on building and maintaining secure, open source encryption tools and libraries to help ensure the protection of customer data across AWS services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including feature definition, design, testing, and implementation.
- Operate within a globally distributed server and customer environment.
- Develop foundational libraries in C and Rust to enhance the security of AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with leading design or architecture of new systems.
- Prior mentorship or leadership experience in engineering roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of full software development life cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
