Job Description

Join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. as a Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in AWS Cryptography. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of millions of customer data by implementing cryptography at scale. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will develop and maintain secure, open-source encryption tools to protect sensitive data for AWS customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
• Operate on a global scale with distributed servers and customers.
• Develop foundational libraries using C and Rust for high-security AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
• Experience in system design, architecture, and leading engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
