Senior Software Development Engineer - AWS Cryptography , C3P

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you are passionate about implementing cryptography at scale and ensuring the security of millions of customers' data, this role is for you. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will be responsible for developing secure, open source encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data both in and out of the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
• Design and deliver secure and user-friendly cryptographic tools and libraries.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and security specialists to provide security features to internal and external customers.
• Operate globally distributed servers and customers for AWS business requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in programming with at least one software language.
• Strong background in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Previous mentoring or leadership roles in engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
