Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $134,500 - $261,500 per year
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, open source encryption tools and libraries to help AWS customers protect their sensitive data.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
- Operate AWS business with globally distributed servers and customers.
- Deliver secure foundational libraries using C and Rust for AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
