Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will contribute to building secure and practical encryption tools and libraries for AWS services.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and support customers.
- Develop foundational libraries in C and Rust for high-security services in AWS.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with software programming languages and system design.
- Background in leading design or architecture of systems.
- Mentorship or team leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
