Job Description
Corewell Health is looking for a dedicated Senior Special Procedure Tech to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, supporting physicians and ensuring exceptional patient/family centered care throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures and offer technical support.
- Perform and record hemodynamic/physiologic wave forms.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and perform quality assurance checks on equipment.
- Participate in on-call schedules and provide training to junior techs.
- Utilize advanced technologies for specific procedures based on the department.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or EP Lab.
- Completion of relevant accredited programs in radiography or cardiovascular technology.
- Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and specific RT registrations depending on the department.
- Strong communication, customer service, and technical skills.
