Responsibilities
- Perform anesthetic monitoring and assist in surgical procedures.
- Handle blood samples for diagnostic testing and radiographs for pre and post-operative care.
- Assist in various surgeries including abdominal explores, cruciate repairs, and laparoscopic procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and monitor patient vitals.
- Potential to obtain VTS in anesthesia or surgical specialty.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited AVMA program or equivalent with a minimum of two years in Veterinary Anesthesia.
- Proficient in anesthetic agents, record-keeping, and medical record review.
- Familiarity with anesthetic monitoring and certification (CVT, LVT, VTS preferred).
