Vet Cadets Teacher

Job Description

Join our team at the Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon Inc as a Vet Cadets Teacher and become a part of a community dedicated to advanced pet care and education. As a toddler teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping early learners' educational experiences and fostering a safe learning environment for children under the age of 3.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to activities in the classroom and outdoor play areas.
• Implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans for preschool-aged children.
• Create a stimulating environment that supports learning and growth.
• Provide individualized attention and support to foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Use effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to enhance children's abilities.

Requirements

• Completion of training in early childhood education or a related credential.
• Experience in teaching children in a childcare setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
• Ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for children.
• Physical ability to lift and carry objects and spend time outdoors.

Physical Demands

• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk intermittently.
• Work in playful and noisy environments.
• Be mobile for over 75% of the work period.
