Veterinary Technician- 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding Emergency team on the 2nd shift at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI. As part of our 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and clients while working in a warm and friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in medical procedures and surgeries.
• Provide nursing care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Perform technical procedures such as restraint, phlebotomy, and catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of technical experience; ER experience preferred.
• CVT required at the time of hire or within two years.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
