Job Description

Ethos Veterinary Health, the premier veterinary group in Grayslake, IL, is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join their Emergency and Critical Care Department. The role involves triaging and providing care for patients, collaborating with DVMs, completing treatments, and assisting with department organization.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients and managing client visits
• Partnering with DVMs in assessments and treatments
• Completing daily treatments and assessments
• Assisting with department flow and organization
• Obtaining and processing laboratory samples
• Using imaging modalities for patient assessment
• Executing and monitoring sedation and anesthesia

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess general nursing care skills, anesthesia administration, procedure assistance, client communication abilities, and a veterinary technician certification. High School education or equivalent with several years of related experience is required.
