Veterinary Technician - Neurology

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our Neurology team at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI. This full-time position offers a competitive salary starting at $21/hr and up, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more. You will have the opportunity to work in a certified Level 1 Emergency and Critical Care Facility, providing compassionate care to our patients and clients.

Responsibilities

• Minimum of 2 years of technical experience.
• Perform technical skills such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, and general nursing care.
• Assist in anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and surgical procedures.
• Ability to lift and restrain patients up to 50lbs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with clients, and advocate for patient care.
• Self-motivated with a passion for veterinary medicine.
• Multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CVT required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional with clients.
• Available for on-call rotation.
