Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Slumberland Furniture is currently seeking Warehouse Associates with Forklift Operations experience to join our team. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $17 per hour. If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, we want you to be a part of our workforce.

Primary Objective & Scope of Position

This role involves storing, moving, and distributing merchandise efficiently. As a Warehouse Associate, you will lead by example, provide training to other team members, and ensure smooth merchandise flow within our facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct merchandise movement activities to optimize space usage.
• Handle merchandise transfers to and from various locations for storage, delivery, and customer service purposes.
• Utilize point of sale systems for inventory management.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Receive incoming merchandise, conduct inspections, and prepare outgoing items for shipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (or actively pursuing).
• Basic math skills and understanding of tools and hardware assembly.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
• Forklift operations experience and familiarity with POS systems preferred.
