Job Description
Slumberland Furniture is looking to hire Warehouse Associates to join our team. This full-time position involves merchandise movement tasks, forklift operations, and providing training to other employees. If you are detail-oriented, a team player, and excel in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Primary Objective & Scope of Position
- Perform merchandise movement duties including storing, moving, and distributing products efficiently.
- Lead by example and provide training to team members.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities
- Efficiently move merchandise, manage flow using POS system, and ensure order accuracy.
- Provide training to colleagues and maintain a professional level of customer service.
- Follow safety protocols, adhere to guidelines, and maintain a safe and organized facility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards).
- Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware.
- Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge required.
