Job Description

We are currently hiring Warehouse Team Members to join our dynamic team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in merchandise movement, ensuring efficient storage, distribution, and customer satisfaction. Primary Objective & Scope of Position

This position involves handling various merchandise movement tasks, including storing, moving, and distributing products. You will also provide training to other employees and ensure accuracy in inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently move and organize merchandise within the warehouse.
• Handle merchandise for display, storage, delivery, and shipment.
• Utilize the point of sale (POS) system to manage inventory flow.
• Train and support other team members in daily tasks.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or currently pursuing).
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.
