Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are currently seeking Warehouse Workers with Forklift Operations experience to join the Slumberland Furniture team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and distribution of merchandise, ensuring customer orders are accurately fulfilled.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently move and store merchandise within locations to maximize space utilization.
• Handle merchandise transfers to and from the show floor, ensuring proper storage, display, or shipment.
• Utilize the point of sale (POS) system to manage inventory flow and maintain accuracy in customer orders.
• Lead by example and provide training to fellow employees.
• Ensure professional communication with customers, colleagues, and vendors to maintain a high level of customer service.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies to uphold inventory accuracy, keeping management informed.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures, operate equipment safely, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards completion).
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools, hardware components, and product assembly.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer knowledge, POS system familiarity is a plus.
