Job Description
Slumberland Furniture is currently seeking Warehouse Workers with Forklift Operations experience to join our team. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $17 per hour. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for efficiently storing, moving, and distributing merchandise while ensuring accuracy and maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Move and condense merchandise to optimize space efficiency.
- Transfer merchandise to/from show floor, storage, and delivery areas.
- Utilize point of sale (POS) system for inventory management.
- Inspect, identify, and process incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Provide training to fellow employees and lead by example.
- Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Adhere to safety protocols, handle equipment properly, and maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with grounds and building maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards).
- Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
- Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with point of sale (POS) systems is desirable.
