Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on psychiatric care to join CareerStaff Unlimited in Kerrville, TX. As a valued member of our team, you will provide quality nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders, collaborate with the treatment team, and ensure patient safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Deliver general and psychiatric nursing care to patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide wound care.
- Coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing and a valid State RN License.
- 1 year of inpatient psychiatric experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
