1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description
Our warehouse operations ensure efficient product receipt, selection, and delivery to our stores. Team members work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas and engage in a thorough training and safety program.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
- Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
- Participate in-taking warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
- Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input to warehouse management to improve processes and achieve budgeted goals.
- Inspect product and consult with warehouse management regarding quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
- Operate equipment according to safety guidelines and report any concerns to management.
Job Qualifications
You must be 18 years of age or older. Perform within ALDI Acts competencies as outlined.
Job-specific Competencies
Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Basic arithmetic skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Physical Requirements
Frequently lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds. Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse. Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold. Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
