Assistant Nurse Manager - Emergency Department
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team at Northwest Hospital. This is a full-time position for the night shift, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate resources in the Emergency Department.
Summary
The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital is a busy unit that sees over 60,000 patients annually. The department focuses on treating major and minor illnesses, including cardiac, stroke, and behavioral health issues. Staff are required to provide care for orthopedic injuries and minor trauma while ensuring efficient and effective clinical nursing interventions.
Job Responsibilities
- Take on 24-hour accountability to coordinate resources and deliver quality service.
- Lead the team in line with the hospital's mission, vision, and nursing department philosophy.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent working knowledge.
- Bachelor's in Nursing, National Certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License and CPR/BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
