First Student, the largest school transportation provider in North America, is looking for a skilled Automotive Diesel Mechanic to join their team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure safety and vehicle readiness. Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and DOT maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle components including brakes, suspensions, and drivetrains.
• Guide and support lower-level technicians.
• Ensure accurate completion of work orders.
• Provide assistance with emergency services when needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license; willingness to obtain CDL.
• Minimum of 3 years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience or relevant technical education.
• Own a mechanic's tool set.
• Openness to participate in ASE certification program.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical requirements.
