Billing & A/R Specialist

Job Description

OnPoint Medical Group is looking for a detail-oriented Billing & A/R Specialist to join our team. The role involves handling full revenue cycle duties, including submitting claims, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring compliance with billing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Work on accounts receivable collections and management, including interacting with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients.
• Review and appeal unpaid and denied claims, run A/R reports, and address patient billing inquiries.
• Ensure productivity goals by clearing a minimum number of claims daily and maintaining A/R aging.
• Adhere to billing compliance and privacy regulations such as HIPAA and OSHA.
• Perform other administrative tasks to support billing operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with strong computer skills.
• 5 years of healthcare experience and at least 2 years of billing experience.
• Preferred: Some college education, bilingual proficiency, and EMR experience.
• Customer service excellence and ability to maintain confidentiality.
