Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Lead Teacher (Caregiver) to join our team at Abacus Childcare. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in implementing the curriculum, creating engaging lesson plans, training Assistant Teachers, fostering positive relationships with parents and staff, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate must have a CDA certification, classroom experience, management skills, and a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement curriculum and lesson plans.
• Train and supervise Assistant Teachers.
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and children.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and children's files.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and center policies.

Requirements

• CDA certification and classroom experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle office duties and maintain supplies.
• Knowledge of First Aid/CPR procedures.
