Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Caregiver Lead to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As the Lead Care Manager, you will oversee a group of Care Managers, ensuring top-quality care and services for our residents. Your responsibilities include providing supervisory support, assisting with daily living activities, coaching team members, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide supervisory support and manage team attendance.
- Assist team members with ADL care and services.
- Encourage resident participation in life enrichment programs.
- Support meal service in the dining room and coach on hospitality standards.
- Ensure compliance with timekeeping and meal/rest period policies.
- Prepare and distribute daily assignment sheets.
Other Responsibilities:
- Administer medications if necessary.
- Support onboarding of new team members.
- Maintain a safe environment and report incidents promptly.
- Communicate resident changes to the care coordinator.
- Handle conflicts and contribute to performance reviews.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED.
• Medication Management Certificate required.
• Previous experience in senior care.
• Leadership competencies and strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and remain calm in challenging situations.
• Proficient in organizational, time management, and computer skills.
• Driver job responsibilities if required.
