Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Cashier to join our team at McDowell Store located at 2665 N. Power Rd, Mesa, Arizona, 85215. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional customer experience, driving sales for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and maintaining high standards on the sales floor.
Starting Pay: $14.50 / Hour
Responsibilities
- Process Point of Sale transactions and handle all forms of payments.
- Solicit cash donations from customers at the point of sale.
- Price merchandise according to type, markings, or guidance from supervisors.
- Complete closing procedures as necessary to support store operations.
- Ensure a clean and safe shopping environment for all customers.
- Stock merchandise in designated areas as directed.
- Engage with customers, providing a friendly and helpful shopping experience.
- Adhere to Goodwill Core Values including Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Strong customer service and math skills preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
- Minimum age requirement: 16 years.
- Pass background check and drug screening as required.
