Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Cashier to join our team at Lake Pleasant Store (83rd Ave & Lake Pleasant). As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and upholding the standards of Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA). Your primary responsibilities will include operating registers, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and engaging with customers.
Starting Pay: $14.50 / Hour
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Point of Sale (POS) duties and handle various forms of payment.
- Solicit cash donations from customers at the point of sale.
- Price items accurately and assist customers with inquiries.
- Complete closing tasks as needed.
- Greet and thank customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain sales floor appearance according to standards.
- Stock merchandise appropriately and make announcements using store systems.
- Ensure a safe and clean store environment.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic math skills preferred.
- Effective communication in English.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening when required.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
