Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Caregiver at Charter Senior Living of Hazel Crest. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing support to our residents in the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care Program(s), assisting with daily activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring residents maintain their quality of life with dignity.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
- Offer emotional and social support to residents, maintaining their independence and confidentiality.
- Document daily assistance provided and report any resident issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety protocols, attend training sessions, and participate in staff meetings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- CNA, STNA, GNA, CHHA, or relevant caregiver certifications as per state regulations.
- CPR/First Aid Certification may be required.
- Experience with elderly or memory-impaired adults preferred but not mandatory.
