Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team at Schilling Graphics Inc. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely driving a company delivery truck to transport products to and from customers. Additionally, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and workspaces.
Responsibilities
- Drive the company truck on designated routes and schedules.
- Deliver and retrieve items from customers according to instructions.
- Load and unload the vehicle as needed.
- Document and log deliveries using company software.
- Adhere to Department of Transportation regulations.
- Ensure timely and independent work to meet customer delivery expectations.
- Interact professionally with customers, fostering positive relationships and gathering feedback.
- Perform local deliveries and pick-ups, including working in a two-person delivery team.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck and work areas.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines consistently.
- Communicate effectively with Leads/Supervisors.
- Participate in training sessions for quality work and safety practices.
- Complete any other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class D driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Passing of DOT physical examination.
- Prior trucking/driving experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate related equipment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with others and basic computer skills.
