Dispatcher

Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized Dispatcher to join RICH TRANSPORT LLC's Dispatch Department. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing driver schedules and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Your day-to-day activities will include entering Bill of Lading information, monitoring driver boards, and communicating with load planners to maintain efficient operations. Furthermore, your ability to handle pressure, maintain communication, and ensure accuracy in dispatch calls will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter Bill of Lading details, ETAs, PTAs, and trailer numbers daily.
• Notify the relevant departments of any delays and assist driver managers/dispatchers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of company truck mileages driven by drivers weekly.
• Monitor driver schedules to ensure on-time deliveries and proactively address any delays.
• Conduct daily check calls with drivers to track progress and support load planners/coordinators.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while communicating with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and McLeod database for creating manifests and load distribution.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.
