Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Equipment Engineer to join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems. As a Facilities Equipment Engineer, you will manage industrial equipment availability through predictive and preventative measures, maintain critical spares, and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment uptime. Your role will involve creating and maintaining equipment spares systems, tracking maintenance schedules, and assisting in project and annual maintenance budget development.

Responsibilities

  • Support and update equipment listings to maximize uptime.
  • Define and secure critical spares for production equipment.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of equipment spares to minimize downtime.
  • Track and monitor open purchase orders and supplier performance.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance requirements and equipment health tracking.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure efficient maintenance tasks.
  • Drive machine checks and track trends for equipment accuracy.
  • Assist in predicting and preventing equipment failures through analysis techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and VBA tools.
  • Basic understanding of CNC and Robotic equipment structure.
  • Ability to read OEM drawings and Electrical Schematics.

Desired Characteristics

  • 3+ years' experience in Aerospace Assembly, Machine Shop, or Manufacturing.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Drawing interpretation skills.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Knowledge of CAD design and Additive Manufacturing.
  • Inventory management and Facility Mechanical/Electrical Systems understanding.
  • Machine Design expertise and laser alignment techniques.
