Facilities Equipment Engineer

Job Description

We are hiring a Facilities Equipment Engineer at Middle River Aerostructure Systems located in Baltimore, MD. Join our world-leading team to manage industrial equipment availability, maintain critical spares, and coordinate equipment uptime strategies. Responsibilities

• Support and update equipment listings to maximize uptime.
• Define and secure critical spares essential for production equipment.
• Maintain appropriate levels of equipment spares, tracking purchases and monitoring suppliers.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure preventative maintenance and efficient upkeep of equipment.
• Drive machine checks, develop maintenance databases, and assist in predicting and preventing equipment failures.
• Contribute to the development of facility maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CNC & robotic equipment, and reading OEM drawings.
• Desired experience in aerospace assembly, continuous improvement, CAD design, additive manufacturing, and inventory management.
• Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge with a focus on facility maintenance.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in machine design, laser alignment techniques, and maintenance procedures.
• Prior exposure to 3D printing, inventory management, and machine shop environments.
• Passion for innovation, teamwork, and driving consistency in maintenance tasks.
