Field Industrial Technician

Job Description

GSM Industrial, a regional leader in industrial fabrication and mechanical contracting, is looking for Field Industrial Technicians to join our Field Operations team. As a Field Industrial Technician, you will be responsible for various installation tasks related to industrial projects, such as welding, rigging, millwright work, and painting, often in challenging conditions. You will operate a range of equipment and tools, including material handling equipment, welding gear, and fabrication machinery, to work on steel structures, piping systems, and more. Safety is our top priority.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks at job sites according to project requirements.
• Operate material handling equipment, welding gear, and other tools safely and efficiently.
• Work on steel structures, piping systems, and various components.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• Prior experience in industrial fabrication or mechanical contracting.
• Proficiency in welding, rigging, and other relevant skills.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
