Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Landing at Hampton Marina, Tapestry by Hilton. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all revenue is accurately posted to the correct departments and daily balancing of revenue. Additionally, you will complete necessary reports and perform audit procedures as per hotel and company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily audit procedures and required reports.
  • Verify and handle wake-up call requests.
  • Balance cash receipts and tasks during the audit shift.
  • Prepare the front office for the 'A' shift and next day's business.
  • Act as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during night hours.
  • Participate in front office meetings and training programs.
  • Act as a PBX operator during the audit shift.
  • Greet guests warmly and assist with any inquiries.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle guest complaints effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Basic arithmetic skills to work with financial information.
  • Flexible to work long hours, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
