Job Description
Join PHM Brands as a Lead Grain Elevator Operator on 1st Shift. As the Elevator Lead Operator, you will oversee all aspects of elevator operations, from inventory management to directing the crew and ensuring safety compliance. This crucial role involves receiving and transferring products, maintaining paperwork accuracy, and promoting a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage bin inventory levels.
- Verify product and truck identification.
- Direct daily work activities of the crew.
- Maintain accurate daily paperwork records.
- Promote workplace safety protocols.
- Coordinate shift handoffs and communicate effectively between departments.
- Perform all elevator duties efficiently (receiving, binning, transferring).
Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED preferred.
- Experience in grain handling and computer skills advantageous.
- Training provided on the job and in safety procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills, multitasking ability, and English proficiency.
- Capable of working independently and in varied hours.
- Skilled in problem-solving and communication.
- Physically able to work in challenging conditions (heights, temperature variations).
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive 18-wheelers desirable.
