Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dedicated team at Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc. As a Care Team Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical leadership to the care team, ensuring smooth operations, managing high-risk patients, delivering patient education, offering direct care and laboratory services, and performing telephone and direct triage.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate infection control practices and proficiency in age-appropriate care for pediatric patients.
• Assess the needs of clients and families, providing referrals when needed.
• Provide urgent care in-office and over the phone, document nursing care accurately in the EMR system, and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform in-office procedures efficiently.
• Coordinate post-hospitalization care to prevent complications and ensure continuing education and training.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures while meeting the physical demands of the position.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handle sensitive medical information, and demonstrate proficiency in EMR systems and office tools.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current LPN license in Massachusetts, Basic Life Support certification, and adherence to ANA Standards of Practice.
