Licensed Practical Nurse Health Unit Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Health Unit Coordinator to join Genesis Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services. In this role, you will support our nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to our patients/residents. You will work under the guidance of the Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or Director of Nursing to ensure accurate transcription of medication and treatment orders, as well as coordinate and document patient care throughout their stay.

Position Highlights

• Transcribe and process health practitioner orders under supervision.
• Implement the Genesis Pharmacy Program and ensure program objectives are met.
• Coordinate healthcare provider appointments and liaise with Pharmacy staff.
• Greet and assist patients/residents, physicians, and visitors.
