Genesis Healthcare, a leading healthcare services provider, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse - Health Unit Coordinator (LPN-HUC) to join our team. As an LPN-HUC, you will play a vital role in supporting nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients and residents.

Responsibilities

Transcribe and process health practitioner orders under nurse supervision.
Implement the Genesis Pharmacy Program and collaborate with medical staff.
Coordinate healthcare provider appointments and assist with patient admissions and discharges.
Welcome and orient patients, visitors, and staff to nursing center policies.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
Proficiency in medical terminology and order transcription.
Understanding of medication administration processes.
Computer skills including Excel and pharmacy software.
