Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at VitalCore delivers quality care within the scope of practice outlined by the state nurse practice act. Responsibilities include monitoring patients as directed by the healthcare team and providing essential nursing care.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Current LPN license in the state of employment.
- Active CPR certification.
- Familiarity with state laws and regulations.
- Completion of initial and annual clinical competencies.
Essential Functions
- Utilize a systematic approach to meet patient health needs.
- Implement nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
- Assist in developing and implementing patient-specific teaching plans.
- Administer medications and provide wound care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and document actions.
