Loan Workout Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Loan Workout Specialist to join the International State Bank of Raton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing distressed loans, analyzing borrowers' financial situations, and developing strategies to mitigate risks. Your role will involve negotiating loan modifications, restructuring terms, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure regulatory compliance and maximize recovery for the bank.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate borrowers' financial conditions, including analyzing financial statements and collateral values.
• Develop and implement strategies to address defaults, delinquencies, and non-performing assets.
• Negotiate with borrowers and stakeholders to reach agreements on workout solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute workout strategies effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial banking or loan servicing with a focus on loan workouts.
• Professional certification (CFA, CPA, MBA) preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hiring range: $115,000 - $175,000.
