Job Description

We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Vocational Instruction Project Community Services Inc. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to ensure our clients receive the best possible care in a cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Promote professionalism, cooperation, and respect in all interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Administer medications following policies and procedures.
• Observe clients for signs of intoxication and medication side effects.
• Maintain accurate medication records and client medical documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Participate in training programs, meetings, and professional development seminars.

Requirements

• Current NYS LPN License and Infection Control Certificate.
• Minimum one year of experience as an LPN, preferably in substance abuse treatment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in English language and computer skills.
