We are looking for a dedicated LPN - Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to join Genesis Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services. As an integral part of our team, you will support nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to our patients/residents. Your responsibilities will include transcribing medication and treatment orders, coordinating care, and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare programs.

Position Highlights

• Transcribe and process health practitioner orders under nurse supervision.
• Collaborate with medical staff to meet Pharmacy Program objectives.
• Assist in scheduling and tracking healthcare provider appointments.
• Welcome patients, visitors, and staff, and provide unit orientation.

Requirements

• LPN certification and advanced knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency in medical order transcription and understanding of drug flow process.
• Computer skills including Excel and Pharmacy system.
