Job Description
We are looking for a driven individual to join Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. as a Management Trainee. In this role, you will be part of our Operations Management Trainee Program, where you will undergo a comprehensive 16-week training program aimed at equipping you with the necessary skills for a successful career in operations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the Operations Management Trainee Program.
- Learn transportation industry principles and efficient cross-dock operations.
- Develop effective leadership and communication skills.
- Build relationships with team members and customers.
- Complete guided and independent study as part of the training program.
- Accompany and observe Account Managers and drivers on daily tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Transportation or Logistics; or 2 years of related work experience.
- Acceptable driving history meeting Company standards.
- Willingness to relocate as required.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor, appearance, and work ethic.
- Basic computer skills.
Compensation
Average annual starting pay: $50,000-$60,000.
